Doraemon Is Back!!! Re-realized the Modern Art×Doraemon for the First time in 15 Years at Here in Roppongi!!

From November 2017, at “Roppongi Mori Art Gallery”, “THE Doraemon TOKYO Exhibition 2017” will be held for about 2 months. Since Doraemon was born in 1970, the Doraemon gave us a lot of hope and dreams through animation. In currently, not only just in Japan, ”Doraemon" is broadcasting on TV all over the world, and we can say it is one of the most popular TV animation everyone knows!
This year, we can see Doraemon is collaborating with modern arts!! The 28 pairs of representative artists in Japan will create their own individual “Doraemon” in the world. They will pull you all into the “Doraemon World” that you have never met before!
What is the Most Attractive Parts of This Exhibition?
“THE Doraemon TOKYO Exhibition” was first time held in year of 2002. After that, the collaboration with modern arts was re-realized for the first time in 15 years. The 5 artists whom have participated in 2002 will be joined again; starting from Takashi Murakami, the pop-artist who handle flowers as a motif, as a main cast, the photographer Mika Ninagawa, the painter and sculptor, Michi Nara etc. Although, a new wide varieties of modern artists will be joined in this exhibition this time, such as Sebastian Masuda, who worked on Kyary Pamyu Pamyu PV Art, “PONPONPON” etc.
Please do not miss the new modern arts collaboration with Doraemon, the painting, scriptures, photograph, media art and calligraphy!!
