“Your name”, a brilliant and heart-touching animated film written and directed by Makoto Shinkai, a talented director, won the Best Animated Feature Film award at Spain’s 49th annual Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival. Today, I am going to visit places in Tokyo shown in “Your Name” . Let’s go!
Recommended Route:
1st Checkpoint: Meiji Shrine

Access: A few minutes walk from JR Harajuku Station, Omotesando exit
A few minutes walk from Tokyo Metro Chiyoda and Fukutoshin Lines, Meiji-jingu-mae Station Exit 2 (JR Exit)
2nd Checkpoint: Footbridge at South Exit of JR Shinanomachi Station.

Access: A 10-min walk from the west gate of Meiji Shrine
3rd Checkpoint: The view near South Exit of JR Shinanomachi Station

Access: Just cross the road.
4th Checkpoint: JR Yotsuya Station
(Taki was waiting Okudera)
Access: A 1-min walk from Asakusa Exit from JR Yotsuya Station
5th Checkpoint: Suga Shrine
(Main Scene)
Access: A 15-min walk from Asakusa Exit from JR Yotsuya Station. The stair in front of the Suga Shrine
