Takeshita Street
Takeshita Street is about 350m street extending from Takeshita Exit of Harajuku Station to Meiji Street.
The shops crowd in bunches, which treats fashion items for unique teenagers such as Lolita type, hip-hop type, and street type etc., accessories, talent goods, and so on. There are many students who come during their school trips and foreign tourists, so the street is very energetic. Many small shops stand side by side, and it is a feature that there are many relatively cheap items.
The shopping street enables you to enjoy finding kitsch fashion items, interesting souvenirs, and unique rare finds. And, it is also a feature that there are many shops where you can take out the foods including crepes which you can eat easily.
The street turns into a pedestrian precinct from 11am until 6pm, and especially on Saturdays and Sundays it is extremely crowded.
