Tokyo Mega Illumination

“Tokyo City Keiba” is the one of the biggest horse racing track in Tokyo. At here, the visitors can enjoy “Twinkle races”, exciting night time horse race from 100yen. For those who likes racing or want to experience something new, it may be interesting.
At paddock area, you can able to check out the horses that will be participating in the upcoming race and “L-Wing” where you can view the entire race. The “G-Font” is a spectator stand right beside the goal line and most thrilling place which horse will win. There is more area where you can watch the race(http://www.tokyocitykeiba.com/en/keiba/).

Starting from October 7, 2018, other than the horse racing, a new large-scale illumination,”Tokyo Mega Illumination” will be hold at “Tokyo City Keiba.” This is said it is one of the largest illumination in the kanto area! This illumination attractive point is you can feel the Japanese history and how the time passed by from Edo era till now. You can enter it from the front entrance, or from the nearest station, Tokyo Monorail`s “Oi Keibajo-mae station”, North gate. There is a few illumination along the way to the main point.However, from the ”Tokyo Time Tunnel~闇~” by listening the ticking of an old clock, your journey will begin! Not only Japanese, also foreigners who loves Japanese culture can enjoy this illumination and how the illumination creates the time horizon using lights and projection mapping (map:https://tokyomegaillumi.jp/map/). It is worth it to see it!
