The Tokyo Station can be described as the entrance of Japan's transportation and its building, which was constructed in 1914, has a history of over 100 years. The remnant of when it was built remains even now, and the classic-designed station building made of red brick is popularly known by its nickname, "red-brick station building".
The characteristic dome in the center, was reconstructed at the time of the construction in 2006. Not only the exterior, but the interior decorations have been faithfully reproduced from past documents.
