Human Cart
Human Cart (human powered carts) are invented in Meiji and Taisho era as a way of getting around, and more faster than walking. It is now used to take visitors around the tourists spots. The person who pulls the cart is called,"Shafu," who knows about the local area inside out, and will give you a guide around Asakusa. Shafu in Asakusa is mostly lively and talkative; can able to see the shadow of vestige Edo-kids, and they will tour and tell you about the things you can’t able to find in the guide book. It is highly recommended if you are tired from walking around or from carrying too much luggage. There are opportunities to find something new at Asakusa from faster speed and higher perspective.
