Tokyo Opera City
Tokyo Opera City is located at Hatsudai Station near Shinjuku. It is a multifunctional building which focuses on arts and music.
For the visitors to enjoy music, the building accommodates a concert hall, which has a large pipe organ, with excellent acoustic effect, used for small scale classical, and a small hall called Ohmi Gakudo designed in a chapel style.
Enjoy special exhibitions with the focus on contemporary and modern art in Opera City Art Gallery, or experience media art with communication as a theme in NTT InterCommunication Centre (ICC). Shin-Kokuritsu Gekijo (New National Theatre), positioned next to Opera City, stages operas, ballet, contemporary dance, acting and musicals.
Enjoy art in diverse forms, with a bit of luck, there may be a chance to hear a Singing Man standing in circular amphitheater style Sunken Garden. Furthermore, there are restaurants on observation deck on 53rd and 54th floor, accommodating for meals, cafes, parties and weddings.
