Experience Waterfall Training

Sometimes when we watch Japan anime or drama , we can see people who standing in the waterfall and closing their eyes . As a foreigners, maybe it is hard to understand how their behaviors are. Here in Japan, you can able to experience those actions, which we called, “waterfall training.” It can help the trainee to get rid of bad thoughts, strengthen their spirits，and also has massage effect.
I would like to tell you the story about one of the foreign trainee, who is interest in waterfall training. His name is Taos, from Greece, who loves anime very much.
First Impression
"When you first see the huge waterfall, you may become afraid and get nervous, but the view is very amazing!!! You can get rid of your afraid thoughts!", Taos said with a smile, and he was very excited he couldn't wait to try the waterfall training.
It’s not spring , it’s winter !
When you see the photo below, you may assume that this photo have taken during winter time, but actually this photo have been taken near Spring. The waterfall is located in the mountain, so it will be more colder. The picture shows the temperature of that day. From that temperature, you can easily guess the degree of water temperature will be around. This day, it was 6-7 degrees celcius, so water temperature was 0 degrees.
What kind of people are interested?
There are 10 participants joined the training this day, and there are two ladies beside men. "What a surprise! I thought only men will attend these kind of training, but found out also ladies come here to strength themselves. In addition, they told me that this is very common in Japan! I found out the trainer is also a woman!!", Taos said with a surprise face. As we imagine, we don`t think ladies will come here to do waterfall training, but right now it is common and some foreigners are also interested in joining these activities.
Now, Lets see if tasos complete the waterfall training ！
The waterfall training place is called “Yuhino taki” located in the middle of Tokyo and Hakone .It takes 90minutes from Shinjuku by odakyu line, and only takes 35minites from Hakone。
If you want to experience the waterfall training and or see the wonderful views of nature, you can drop off at Shin-Matsuda station.
Notice： If you want to experience the waterfall training, you need to book it first. You can simply send the e-mail to this address e_takigyo@yahoo.co.jp. Now they only accept English and Japanese for reservation mail .
◆There is more places held waterfall training. However, most of the waterfall training will not accept foreigners’ application unfortunately, but we would like to introduce two companies we have listed below, which are available to foreigners .
