TAIMEIKEN
It is a long-established western style restaurant, that continues from 1931. Western dishes such as Hamburg steaks and curry with rice are not rare now, but back in 1931, it was very new to Japanese food culture.
Capable of eating the taste of the time, it is an extremely popular restaurant among the Japanese people, even now. In the restaurant, which has a classical atmosphere, you can enjoy a composed meal. The restaurant is separated in the 1st and 2nd floors, and the menus provided differ.
On the 1st floor, you can enjoy a la carte dishes. Whereas, the 2nd floor is an authentic restaurant, where you can enjoy various dishes of a prix-fixe menu. Though unrelated to the restaurant itself, there is a museum on the 5th floor of the same building. It is a museum of kites, made from the interest of the founder of TAIMEIKEN.
