Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building
Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, located in Shinjuku, is a local council office for Tokyo.
The building is separated into Main Building No.1 and No.2, with No.1 accommodating observation deck, Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Chamber, a courtyard and tourist information centre.
The observation deck is free of charge located at 202m high offers panoramic view of Tokyo. Casual visits to the assembly chamber will be restricted during the plenary session and committee meetings, but it is worth a visit during other times to experience the solemnity of the assembly chamber. Information centre, may be small, but prepares computers in English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese to offer information about Tokyo.
There are also art exhibitions and resident information room located within the tower functioning as a multipurpose building.
