Asakusa Kokaido

Asakusa Kokai Do in Taito-ku is famous for its new year, Asakusa Kabuki that goes on a show once a year.
The entertainment hall has always been the attraction for people of Asakusa from old days. Throughout the year, there are Nihon Buyo dance, original dance, popular entertainments, song festivals and jazz,  contest taking place in the hall. As a result, the hall acts as the heart of Japanese traditional entertainment.
The high quality facility has included high tech equipments, which you will not find in any other public facilities. The hall is able to set up 18 meters long path to allow dramatic actions of Kabuki and Nihon buyo dance. It can accommodate 1082 audiences, so you may be able to just turn up and grab a seat.
There is also Kamei-an cafe,  in the traditional entertainment facility style for visitors to enjoy drinks and meals.
