Kamiya Bar
Kamiya Bar was opened as the first bar in Japan in 1880, and it continues to be loved by people in Asakusa.
The popular drink is Denki Bran. It was named after Denki meaning electricity which was rare and new at the time. Denki Bran has 30 degrees alcohol (270yen a shot) and Denki Bran Old has 40 degrees alcohol (370yen a shot). It is a secret recipe includes brandy, gin, wine, curaçao, and herbs, can only be tasted at this bar.
It is still loved by many people in Asakusa, and as the symbolic drink of Asakusa.
The bar welcome everyone, and does not have dress code, so you can just jump in and enjoy the social atmosphere!
